About Hermle North America
Hermle North America, originally named Hermle Black Forest Clocks, was established by our German parent company in the scenic foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Amherst, Virginia in 1977 to serve the North American market. While the American branch started as the manufacturer of clock movements, it quickly grew into the designer and crafters of sough-after Hermle branded timepieces, working with a vast dealer network across the country to provide an alternative to the mass-produced clocks typically sold in chain retailers. Hermle North America acquired Emperor Clocks, a company known for providing customers with clock-building kids, and now sells Hermle products directly to end consumers through Emperor’s retail website, www.emperorclock.com.
