Sligh Introduces Two Office and Media Collections Showcasing Remarkable Styling Diversity
HIGH POINT, NC – Today’s home office and media rooms are becoming increasingly design-centric as figures show that over 40% of Americans work remotely on a regular basis. Recognizing this lifestyle trend and the need for diverse styling options, Sligh announces the introduction of two new collections at the High Point Market, October 13-18, 2017. Greystone features a fashionable, feminine approach to the category while Richmond Hill offers an elegant traditional interpretation. The collections will make their debut in the Lexington Home Brands showroom on National Highway.
“Wireless connectivity has opened the door to uninhibited creativity in the office and media categories, significantly elevating the level of design sophistication,” said Phil Haney, President and CEO of Lexington Home Brands. “This, at a time when affluent consumers are spending more time working and entertaining at home. They are zealous about maintaining design continuity within their residences, and look to make a statement in every room. Our goal in product development is to deliver styling that inspires, with function that never makes itself evident.”
Designs in Greystone are crafted from select walnut veneers, wire- brushed by hand to accentuate the grain characteristics, and then finished in a soft pearl gray coloration with a hint of white hang-up for visual interest. Custom hardware and ferrules feature a brushed nickel finish that complements the collection’s elegant coloration.
A signature design element in Greystone is a contemporary fretwork pattern, showcased on the file chest and deck, as well as on the media cabinet. Glass shelves feature ultra-clear glass and touch LED lighting for a clean, modern look. The portfolio includes three desk configurations to accommodate any space in the home, a file cabinet and deck, and a 74-inch media console.
Designs in Richmond Hill are crafted from select cherry veneers, featuring classic styling elements like fluted posts, elegant tapered legs, inverted breakfront designs and raised moldings. The warm cherry finish exudes a decided air of sophistication, with light distressing on surfaces and gentle burnishing on edges and corners. The hardware is finished in a rich aged bronze coloration.
Offering flexibility for any space, the Richmond Hill assortment includes an executive desk, a kneehole desk and a writing desk. The companion file chest offers generous locking storage for letter or legal files and the deck features dimmable touch LED lighting and framed glass shelves.
The collections will debut in the dedicated Sligh showroom located in the main Lexington Home Brands complex during High Point Market, October
13-18, 2017. The showroom is located at 1300 National Highway.
Complimentary parking is available on the showroom campus and lunch is served daily. Private transportation departs every ten minutes from the new Lexington Design Studio in downtown High Point to the main showroom, operating daily from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm or until the last guest is accommodated. The Design Studio is located at the corner of Commerce Street and Wrenn, directly across from the IHFC building and the main transportation terminal.
